Scientific tests have shown that lure motion and sound are critical in provoking game fish strikes, and that bigger fish are more likely to attack wounded fish.

Knowing this, inventor Frank Pearce set out to design a lure with all these characteristics: a lure that struggles like an injured fish, emits lifelike sound, and looks like a real fish.

People had been trying to develop a motorized fishing lure for literally a hundred years, but no one had been able to pull it off. Despite this precedent, Frank started development of his lure, and in doing so discovered a way to make a miniature stainless steel motor that could, with the pull of a string, power the lure’s tail

After years of refining his lure’s battery-free motor, Frank created the computer designed appearance of the lures, striving to give each lure a real fish-or-frog finish. The result of Frank’s tireless efforts is the most lifelike lure on the market, and the only motorized lure in the world!
